June sofar in London

This June saw London host its monthly sofar gig in a wonderfully unique and quirky room in Kim's apartment. Musicians, fans and friends met to see what exciting and varied talent sofar had lined up for them this time. His voice alone is enough to move any room to a peaceful silence. You can catch Steve at Hop Farm and Great Escape festivals this summer. http://www.myspace.com/stevesmythmusic/music And don't forget to follow him on twitter, too! @SteveSmythMusic [caption id="attachment_185" align="alignnone" width="200" caption="Photographed by Kassandra Carelos"]

It was even more impressive when she was able to explain the meaning behind it. http://www.myspace.com/rosiemayuk

Jake Morley was the third act of the night. The effortless guitar tapping, foot stamping and bass improv really got the crowd going, singing and clapping along to the catchy tunes. Jake's debut album 'Many Fish To Fry' is available now. http://www.jakemorley.com/ @jakemorley

What can I say about the final band of the evening, Joker and the Thief? In one word - incredible.  Soulful voices, crazy drumming and beautiful blasts from the saxophone all combined to form the perfect ending to the night, as well as an improvised song about an audience member sneezing...
And so until next time London SoFar!
